Candidate for Legislator: Louise Ahlm | HAL QUAM A TIA

Mother of two sons and grandmother to one granddaughter.  My mother was Gladys Hearl, and her parents Felix and Annie Williams.

I have an educational background in Business Administration, majoring in accounting.  Over 10 years experience working for TFN with Enrolment, Indian Registration, Event Support, Housing, Taxation and assistance with Lands Department.

As a proud Tsawwassen Member, my journey in leadership is grounded in listening, learning, and taking action.  I have spent decades advocating for policies and programs that strengthen our Nation and support our people.  I will continue to work with heart, humility and honesty for the well-being of our Members now and for generations to come.

My priorities include  promoting and improving support to Education, programs which enable Members to access senior TFN positions, Economic Growth & Member Distributions,  increasing Culture and Community Strength, Affordable Housing, Drug Awareness & Recovery Programs, Financial Advice for our Members, and Communication, Services & Transparency.

Being a voice for our Members has been my greatest honour and I would be very proud to continue this work if successful in our next election on October 17, 2026.
