Candidate for Legislator: Melinda Cassidy
Hello I am Melinda Cassidy, my ancestral name is (sxʷamiyə), I was born in the Okanagan and moved to the Tsawwassen lands after graduating high school in 1999. The majority of my working life has been spent working for Tsawwassen First Nation. I enjoy crafts, paddleboarding and spending time with family and friends.
My experience:
I have sat on several terms of the Legislature, the Enrolment Committee, I have worked in Early childhood programs, Education, and varying roles within the administration. For the last 9 years I have worked in Archaeology and more recently in the new TFN Repository. My priorities are Education, Employment and Community Safety and a sustainable Economic Future.
